Therapeutic massage is a general term that describes any type of massage that helps relieve pain, reduce stress, and work on a specific problem, such as a shoulder, back or neck pain, tension headache. The massage therapist will use a combination of techniques depending on their skill set and what your body needs. This may include  deep tissue, trigger points, myofascial release. The objective is to enhance the healing process from injury, muscular aches and pains that happen because of built up tension, stress, muscle imbalance, over training, myofascial restrictions to name a few.

We offer sessions of 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes, 60 minutes being the most popular choice as it gives the massage therapist more time to work more thoroughly and effectively, while giving you more time to unwind, increasing the benefits of the massage.

Tenderness can occur after a massage but its important to let your therapist know that the pressure being applied is comfortable for you so they can adjust accordingly or change how they are working on that particular area. A harder massage is not always the most beneficial one as in some cases or areas a lighter touch might be more effective in resolving the issue at hand.
